Extracurricular Sport Programs
Participation at every level.....

Our extensive athletics program offerings form an integral part of each student's education at Quakertown Community Senior High School. Just as the growing mind needs training, exercise, and discipline, so too does the growing body. To that end, experienced coaches and first-rate facilities are available to ensure that every student who chooses to participate explores his or her physical potential to the fullest. Extracurricular activities also spark interests that can last a lifetime and lead to important career decisions. As such, our faculty and staff encourage student participation, sportsmanship, and good teamwork.

As a member school of Suburban One Interscholastic Athletic League. Quakertown competes in twenty sports programs. Consequently, we have enjoyed tremendous success as evidenced by the wide variety of championship banners that grace the walls of our gymnasium complex.

In addition to our comprehensive varsity and junior varsity sports offerings, we also compete on the freshman level in eight sports areas. Our "board certified" athletic trainer manages our modern training room facility and maintains a constant vigil at each of our athletic contests to attend to every student's need.

All of our sports programs benefit from a tremendous amount of parent and community support. Outstanding attendance at athletic contests and games is a tradition of long-standing and serves as the hallmark of "Panther Pride" in our school. Booster clubs and other parent organizations lend a helping hand and provide that added presence which complements our success. A cooperative spirit throughout the school community promotes a healthy attitude toward the value and place of interscholastic sports in our school.

Yours in Athletics,

Sylvia
