Jaclyn Gluck: UBCTS student of the month

Jaclyn Gluck has excelled in the UBCTS Carpentry Program. Jaclyn Gluck, a senior in the Upper Bucks County Technical School's Carpentry Program, has been named the Student of the Month for April.

The daughter of Robert and Patricia Gluck, Jaclyn attends Quakertown Community High School.

Jaclyn is a Cooperative Education student trainee employed by Happ Contractors Inc. of Doylestown. She is an entry-level carpenter and has received all excellent evaluations from her employer.

She has also excelled in the UBCTS Carpentry Program and was elected president of this class by her peers. In addition, she has earned the OSHA 10-hour safety certification for the construction industry.

Jaclyn is also an active member of the UBCTS SkillsUSA Chapter and has served as vice president of this organization. She has attended the SkillsUSA Professional Development Conference, Ambassador Leadership Training, and the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Let’s Build Camp for Girls.

She contributes to the community by serving as the chairperson for the UBCTS Holiday Gift Card Project, which  benefits teenage foster children.

After graduation, Jaclyn plans to seek opportunities and an apprenticeship in the carpentry field.
