An undefeated freshman, Mason Ziegler and 3 of his teammates are set to compete in next week's Super Regional.
Quakertown Community High School’s Mason Ziegler captured the 113-pound crown during Saturday’s Class 3A Southeast Regional wrestling championships at Council Rock North High School.
Mason, 25-0 during an amazing campaign defeated Sam Kuhns of Pennridge, 1-0, in a battle of superior freshmen grapplers.
Quakertown will host the "Super Regional," the last step before the PIAA championships, next Saturday.
Three of Ziegler’s teammates will join him Saturday as QCHS hosts the Super Regionals. Those Panthers are sophomore Zach Borzio (third at 126 pounds), junior Fred Retter (third at 285), and senior Domenic DeFalco (fourth at 138).
