15 QCHS seniors were part of a college signing ceremony on May 31 for student-athletes.

Fifteen Quakertown Community High School seniors officially announced plans to continue their athletic careers at the next level on May 31 in a ceremony attended by their families, friends, teammates, coaches, and the school community.

Athletic Director Sylvia Kalazs, the emcee for the event in the school’s Performing Arts Center, said the students “should be very proud of their accomplishments, both in the classroom and on their athletic venues.”

She said it was the largest group of QCHS athletes assembled for a single college signing ceremony, and the most diverse group of sports, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, rowing, and track.
