Summer Assignments

In the sections below, students will find a list of summer assignments by content area and then by course. Students should check each section for a link to any of their courses for the upcoming school year. If a course is not listed below, it does not have summer work associated with it. Should students have any questions about their summer assignment, they should contact their course teacher with those concerns.

General directions for students:

  1. Make sure you are logged into your school Google account.

  2. Click the course name (assignment link).

  3. When the file opens, go to File and select “make a copy.” Some links go to a folder instead of a single file - in that case, repeat those steps for all files.

  4. Title the copy something memorable - include your name and the course name in the title, so it’s easy for you to find again and for the teacher to identify your work.

  5. Save the document in your Google Drive, preferably within a folder for either the ‘25-’26 school year and/or for the course name.

  6. Advice: Please avoid editing and completing your work in a Word document, and instead keep to a Google document. It saves automatically every few keystrokes, and it is accessible from any computer, whereas a Word document does not necessarily automatically save and is only accessible often on the computer on which you saved it (exceptions for those with a OneDrive account).
