This week’s Take 5 begins with my sincere appreciation to our QCSD Facilities Team for their outstanding efforts in clearing snow and maintaining our campuses throughout the recent weather. Their behind-the-scenes work is essential in keeping our schools safe and welcoming for students and staff each day, and I am grateful for their continued dedication.
I would also like to thank our QCSD families who took the time to attend our Kindergarten Parent Information Night despite the cold temperatures. Your engagement and partnership play an important role in supporting our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey.
I also wanted to remind families to purchase their tickets for our upcoming Daddy-Daughter Dance on February 8. This annual event provides a meaningful opportunity for families to connect and create special memories together.
As many families begin winter organizing, I encourage you to consider participating in our Design Thinking toy donation drive by donating used or broken toys. See below for the details!
And as promised, this edition also features our January Superintendent Spotlights. I hope you will take a moment to watch and join me in celebrating our exceptional staff members who make QCSD such a special place to learn and work.
Have a wonderful weekend, Panthers,
Dr. Matthew Friedman, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
