“Meet The Instruments Night” and parent meeting will be held Tuesday April 21st from 6-7:00pm at Strayer Middle School. This event is for any student who might like to learn a musical instrument next year in the band and orchestra program! (Current band and orchestra students do not need to attend this event unless you are considering learning a new instrument.)
At "Meet the Instruments Night" your child will get to try out their top 3 instrument choices before you enroll in the program and get an instrument for them. Parents will also learn more about the QCSD band and orchestra program, get to meet the teachers, learn about instrument rentals, and ask any questions.
You must pre-register for this event, so we will know our anticipated attendance and can provide the correct amount of supplies (mouthpieces, reeds, etc.).

For an alumnus to be considered, they must demonstrate exceptional achievement in their career or have contributed significantly to the health, welfare, or human rights of the local, state, national, or international community.
To be nominated, a graduate must have ready:
- A current resume of the nominee
- Year of Graduation
- Educational Background
- Special Awards and Service Efforts
- A statement of 500 words or fewer that describes the qualifications for the award

The evening included both groups displaying their talents, as well as showcasing guest performances from John Riley on the drums, Randy Kapralick on trombone and Larry Tamanini on guitar.

This past month, Lehigh University College of Education launched its “Joy in Education” campaign, which celebrates teachers, administrators, school counselors, and psychologists who make a meaningful difference and foster community and support among education professionals. And we are happy to report that our very own, Dr. Kelly was selected! Here is his nomination:
“Dr. Kelly has had an incredible impact on the field of school psychology. As affiliated teaching faculty, he has literally trained every single school psychology graduate student in his more than 20 years of service to the College of Education, mentoring students in critical areas of educational practice.
