Quakertown Community High School students dominated the competition at the recent Future Business Leaders of America regionals.

The club, with the support of advisor Sandi Frisch, had 10 students finish first, four gain second and six take third. Sixteen students qualified for the state tournament. Six students also captured fourth-, fifth-, and sixth place.

“I’m so impressed with the accomplishments of these students,” Mrs. Frisch said. “Our seniors reached out to freshmen and grew the club. Despite a pandemic and being new to the school our freshmen were outstanding. It speaks volumes that students are still seeking involvement in school activities during the pandemic. Every activity in FBLA aligns with college and career readiness: problem-solving, public speaking, leadership. These opportunities round out who these kids are. We have a lot of great competitors. I couldn’t be more proud.”

According to the FBLA website, the organization “inspires and prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.”
